What can I say about this wonderful bitch! Ella gained her title at Dundalk 2007 under Mr. Steve Hall.  We have had a wonderful 2007, from just 11 shows, Ella is Top Winning Bitch.

Ella marks the true foundation of Seryphina, she lives up to her name "Touch of Elegance" combining the true elegance and dignity of the collie along with correct substance and size. Ella is a wonderfully constructed bitch evidenced by her super movement and elegant shape.  Ella excels in correct chin and muzzle and has a beautiful soft, alert and intelligent expression.  She has the most fanastic temperament and personality and unashamedly admit she is my "heart" dog, she both a wonderul collie and a wonderful person and is an absolute pleasure to know and live with.

Ella produced her first litter of EIGHT tricolours in October 2006 to the wonderful Wicani What's New Pussycat. Her daughter Seryphina Dance of the Raven Moon has been retained in partnership with Kennel Wicani (Thank you Angela!) and we are very excited about Miss Raven's future.

Ella has now been mated to Wicani Nighthawk, babies due the end of May.

Some Critiques
I love a dog with charm and a twinkle in the eyes. This bitch is so full of herself, that you can't look past her.  She sparkles as a star and enjoys every minute in the ring. She is very correctly constructed with an extremely good head and expression with obliquely set black eyes, fitting bones, correct angulations both front and rear and especially good in knee angulations.  Very correct blue-merle colour. The handler had to work to keep her from showing a gay tail and she managed most of the time. I would prefer her a trifle longer in body. Very well presented, perfectly groomed and snow white collar. I just loved her.

Two and half year old blue merle bitch, true for size and shape. Nice head showing correct planes required with nice eye and correctly placed ears. Beautiful arched neck flowing into correctly angled front. Nice length of body and correct angulation in the rear.  Her movement confirmed her construction as she went like a dream, one who could do a day's work. Pleased to award her top honour, Best of Breed.
